Creamy Garlic Prawn Pasta The weekend is here and we deserve a treat!!! Rather than heading out for dinner, I think you should make THIS luscious Creamy Garlic Prawn Pasta at home. 🙂 Yes it’s indulgent, but let me assure you, it’s a whole lot healthier than eating out. Because let’s face it – restaurant food is so good because it’s loaded with butter, oil and salt. I once went in search for a famous Mashed Potato recipe by Guillaume Brahimi, a renowned French Chef here in Australia, after having it at his restaurant....
This is a cookbook exclusive recipe! This recipe is exclusive to my debut cookbook Dinner which includes a how-to video for every recipe. Just scan the QR code! Just to explain…. I know, it’s confusing! You’re so used to getting recipes on my website – there’s over 1,200 of them, after all. And here you are looking at a tasty recipe video and I haven’t provided the recipe. 🙀 I’m not just doing this to torture you, I promise....
I love to serve mine with cubed roasted potatoes or creamy garlic mashed potatoes with a side of vegetable like this easy sauteed cabbage. Easy oven baked pork chops recipe This is about to be the best bone-in pork chop dinner recipe you will ever make. Well, apart from this honey garlic pork chops. If you have been following this blog for a while, you would know I am a big preacher of minimal ingredients big flavour....
This tasty dish is ready in just 20 minutes. You can serve it as is or on top of spaghetti squash or zucchini noodles. This easy shrimp recipe is ready super fast, and its flavor combination is incredibly fresh and flavorful. This is one of my favorite weeknight dinners, and also one of my favorite ways to prepare shrimp. (Another excellent one is baked shrimp). Butter, garlic, white wine, and lemon juice combine into a delicate-yet-flavorful sauce that perfectly complements the mild flavor of shrimp....
Extra fluffy is the go here, and the secret is vinegar. You can’t taste it, but it activates the rising agent to give the pancakes extra lift. And don’t forget, blueberries are good for you! Extra fluffy Blueberry Pancakes – worth waking up for! Slightly crispy edges. Golden surfaces. Soft and fluffy on the inside, soaked through with maple syrup and melted butter. And that moment when you bite into a warm blueberry and it bursts in your mouth… It’s just a little bit of food heaven right there....
Mashed white beans. A great accidental discovery! The first time I made a variation of it was when I was making a bruschetta platter (being a spread with a pile of toasted garlicky bread and bowls of various bruschetta toppings for guests to help themselves). Then one day I had a serious urge for a pile of mash to accompany a fish dinner but simply didn’t have the energy to peel, cut, boil and mash potatoes so I reached for a can of cannellini beans instead – and wonders of wonders, it was sensational!...
This is a reader-favourite recipe included by popular demand in my debut cookbook “Dinner”! Greek Chicken Gyros recipe It’s been ages since I made this Greek Chicken Gyros. But the minute the chicken hit the grill, all I could think was “why don’t I make this more often??” The smell is incredible. You can REALLY smell garlic and oregano. You know how sometimes you add herbs into things and you can’t really taste it?...

Nachos are irresistible. We’re all in agreement here right? We go to a fabulous Mexican restaurant, looking forward to all of the delights on offer, but it’s almost impossible to resist the nachos! Then we eat all of those nachos, and we’re too full to enjoy the juicy steak, spicy rice, 3 other sides that would be a shame not to try, and the bite of oversized-burrito from my husband’s plate that we know he won’t mind us nicking…....
I mentioned in my hot toddy recipe that I have a version of this hot drink without any alcohol and it’s safe to give to my children. Honey and lemon tea is hardly a recipe but it is highly effective for a cold, cough or even sore throat. Today’s post is by no means discouraging you from treating common cold with medicine. If you are in the UK, you would agree with me that you get sent home empty-handed 90% of the time when you go to the hospital or your GP with cold....
I guess they’re just that versatile. Also good for evening snacks, brunch, and the time you’re making a cup of tea and they’re right next to the cups - so a nibble of the corner ends up being a whole one. I LOVE easter baking. I’m not as fussed about making Easter cakes and sweet treats (it almost seems pointless when you can just eat crunchy Easter chocolate straight from the fridge - my favourite), but I’m all about the breakfast/brunch bread treats like these hot cross buns, my chocolate orange version, raspberry and almond-stuffed croissants or these savoury ham and cheese croissants....
Save yourself some coins from coffee shops by making this cold drink cheaper at home without compromising on flavours and taste. A great alternative to coffee or regular tea. Homemade iced matcha latte recipe I only recently started drinking matcha tea, and I haven’t been disappointed. It is a good pick me up on a summer day or any other days just like my popular iced coffee recipe. It can be made hot if that is what you are in to....
It’s also incredibly easy to make, and you can bake it ahead of time and reheat it - the leftovers are really good! This tasty casserole has quickly become one of my favorite breakfasts to make when I invite friends over for brunch. It’s rich, flavorful, and so easy to make. And I can make it in advance and reheat, which is always a plus. Many casseroles are tasty but not very pretty to look at, but this one is actually gorgeous, which is another advantage....
Served over mashed cauliflower and made without flour, this delicious entree is also gluten-free. There’s nothing quite like a hot plate of a rich stew in winter. Flavorful, slow-cooked, tender beef, smothered in thick, rich gravy… it’s the quintessential comfort food. This keto pot roast is probably my favorite beef recipe to make - and eat - in the winter. I make it almost every other week, and we never tire of it....
Never be disappointed by gluggy, mushy, bland Mexican Rice again! Red Mexican Rice – an essential Mexican side! 2 years ago today, I was in Oaxaca, arguably the food capital of Mexico and an ideal place to watch the festivities of Day of the Dead, an annual multi-day holiday during which family and friends gather to pray and celebrate the life of those who have passed. It’s colourful, it’s joyous, there’s a seemingly endless stream of parades that weave through the streets....
Australia is known for many great foods, but smokey, fall apart, juicy ribs is not one of them. We simply don’t have the equipment needed, nor the generations of experience and knowledge that the masters of barbecuing in the US have. Real barbecue ribs is an art and it’s not something that everyday home cooks can manage at home. So to make great homemade ribs at home, I think it comes down to the sauce....
As is often the case with slow-cooked meat, leftovers are excellent, as long as you reheat them gently. Slow-cooked meat is amazing. It’s such an easy cooking method that yields fabulous results. I especially love these oven-braised boneless short ribs. Rich, fatty, tender beef - a true comfort food! And they are more affordable than ribeye roast, another fatty cut of beef which I also adore. In this easy recipe, I simply place the seasoned ribs in a pan and bake them for three hours at 300 degrees F....
This salad is guaranteed to get your tastebuds tingling. I know there are lots of variations of the classic Panzanella, but the for the most part, the basic recipe consists of beautifully ripe tomatoes, bread (usually stale) soaked in tomato juices, a simple dressing and plenty of seasoning. I’m not really keen on the soggy bread thing, so I use slices of garlic bread that have been chopped and then crisped up in a pan....
